Who I Am
Gorgon’s Grimoire is the publishing corner of Richard L. Littles, creator of Gorgon’s Grimoire and The Family RPG System. The work here reaches across tabletop roleplaying games, historical roleplaying, fiction, nonfiction, software tools, and game-support material.
Much of that work is rooted in a lifetime of listening to history instead of treating it like decoration. Richard’s father served in Vietnam with Charlie Company, 2nd Battalion, 60th Infantry Regiment during 1966-1967, and that experience shaped the way Richard understands war, memory, veterans, and the families who carry those stories after the shooting stops. Ghosts of Vietnam is not built from distance or fashion. It comes from respect for the men who were there, for what they endured, and for the truth that war follows people home.
Gorgon’s Grimoire exists because games and books can carry weight. Fantasy should have steel in it. Historical roleplaying should respect the people and period it portrays. Tools should help players and Adventure Masters get to the table instead of burying them under work. The goal is simple: build useful, playable, memorable things with a strong spine.

Design Philosophy
Games should be playable at the table. Rules should support the Adventure Master, not replace judgment. A good rulebook gives the table iron, rope, torches, maps, and room to breathe.
History, myth, steel, danger, and consequence matter. The old-school spirit is worth preserving, but preservation does not mean making the table fight the book. Usability matters. Tools should reduce burden, not take control away from players or the Adventure Master.
Why Gorgon’s Grimoire Exists
Gorgon’s Grimoire exists to build games and books with a strong spine: fantasy with weight, historical games with respect for the subject, and tools that help people actually play.
